Lebanon Cooperative Nursery School (LCNS) was founded in 1973 by community parents determined to provide an affordable, quality preschool experience for the region's children. Still going strong today, LCNS operates out of the rear building of the First Congregational Church on the Lebanon Green and boasts two cheerful classrooms and an enclosed outdoor play area. The school offers a three-day/week program for three and four-year-olds.
The school’s certified teachers, Meghan Danko and Carrie Goins, provide a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and create through a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum designed to appreciate and enrich each child as an individual. Parents are also encouraged to take an active role in their child's preschool experience, making it a wonderful introduction to school for the whole family!
At LCNS, children enjoy learning the problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills that will serve them in Kindergarten and beyond.
Four decades of learning and still counting ...
